Liam was born to two farmers on the Azurane Islands . They worked hard for their money, and occasionally came up short, though they were always in good spirits. Liam was born into a happy bustling household, beloved by his parents and family. As soon as he could toddle he tore around the family farm, causing mischief and helping his parents. When his sister, Nessa, was born she was welcomed in the same way, and Liam took it upon himself to protect his baby sister no matter what. They grew up together, Nessa never more than a few feet behind her brother as they tore up the countryside together. They played and worked together, were best friends and partners in crime. But as Liam grew, he began to yearn for more. His parents noticed this, and on his fourteenth birthday, told him of a job they had acquired for him working within the castle at Aveen with his uncle as a stable boy. Liam was extremely thrilled, setting off for the capital with some family friends only a few days afterward. He promised his sister that in a few years he would certainly join him, said that he would write her every week, and took off. It’s been a year since then, and Liam has found taking care of the stables and being in a big city to be to his liking. He’s kept up his promise of writing his sister, and does it as often as he can. Recently things have been rather odd though, it just seems as though things are off. Liam doesn’t dwell on it, though. There are places to go and things that need to be cleaned. |
Liam is a bit of a dork. He sees himself as some hero in training, and at the moment is waiting for some famous knight to come and take him under their wing so he can go off and be awesome. Nessa could totally come too, and they’d roam the land righting wrongs and finding really cool things. He daydreams about this often, though is still a very hard a dedicated worker. He always tries to make the best out of a bad situation, even when the situation is screaming ‘we’re all screwed’. He’s really pretty naïve, which combined with his habit to think before speaking can be the cause of many ‘special’ events. He’s always doing the right thing, though. He just doesn’t seem to get that some people don’t care. He likes to meet new people. He believes in people, that deep down everybody has some tiny speck of goodness in them. That’s how he was raised, and that’s what he believes. Liam likes to have fun, and will drag people he barely knows along to do stupid things because he thinks it’ll be cool. Liam’s also extremely loyal, even to people he’s just meant. Until you’ve given him a reason to doubt you, Liam will trust anyone who comes along in need of something. He is still a boy, and has a competitive side, though in the end will still probably like whomever he competes against. |
He’s an average boy. A bit on the small side, he’s got some muscle on him after working hard most of his life. It makes it easier to perform his often physical job, and makes him feel better whenever he can best a palace brat in a physical challenge. His hair is a light brown and often looks like he just rolled out of a pile of hay. This could be because he sleeps in the stable loft, but he likes to say it’s very precisely styled. His eyes are a bright and happy blue, and he’s healthily tanned. He moves about like a puppy, often to quickly and clumsily, still not too comfortable with teenage growth spurts. Liam’s kind of cute, in a way. Most of the time he just comes off as a dork who can’t dance, though. |
